The Alamos Cabernet shows the great potential for this classic varietal in the high altitude wine country of Mendoza. With a deep ruby-red color, the wine offers an intense nose of red berry fruit mixed with eucalyptus and mint. The palate is packed with ripe, concentrated red currant and plum fruit flavors with light touches of cedar, spice and black pepper. The finish is structured, yet soft, with soft, velvety tannins.
